Project 2008/2009


Title   Psychosocial support to preschool aged children and their caregivers in Gaza Strip.
Principal Objective:   To support early childhood of Gaza Strip to cope with the stress caused by the conflict and the siege, by intervening in their psychosocial context.
Specific Objective:   To enhance the resilience capacity of pre-school aged children in Gaza Strip by intervening in their socio-educational context aimed at the development of the skills of their caregivers, involving them in the educational process, and at the improvement of quality of educational process in KGs and families environment.
Results:  
  • 4.550 Children play in safe and positive spaces and are involved in non formal educational process organized by 100 skilled caregivers.
  • 3.500 Children access to quality education.
  • 2.275 Caregivers are aware about children needs, education, hygiene and nutrition and their capacity to find coping strategies and solutions improved.
